We currently have vacancies at all 3 offices in Lichfield, Warrington and Hull.

In Hull, we are looking for a more junior operator to assist in the day to day running of the office, answering the phone, doing quotes, checking on vehicles, inputting shipments into our computer system. Applications however from more experienced operators will be considered.

In Lichfield, we have a vacancy in the Benelux / Scandinavian department. You will need at least 2-3 years road freight experience, ideally with some experience too of these markets. You will be responsible for the movement of about 100 part and full load shipments each month to and from these areas. We are also hoping to expand our Eastern European department. Any candidates that could speak an Eastern European language with road freight experience, would be of great interest to us.

We also have a vacancy for a Sales and Development Manager. The role will require a mixture of office and field based sales, approximately 50 / 50. It will include overall responsibility for the Sales and Marketing department, its budgets and the achievement of its targets and KPI’s. Extensive experience in the European road freight market is required as well as a “can do”/ “go the extra mile ” attitude. The position would come with a company car and private medical insurance. On-going customer contacts would also be advantageous. We will however be employing the candidate with the right attitude not with the most number of contacts.

In Warrington, we are looking for a road freight operator to join a very successful team of 5 to further enhance our presence and reputation in the North West. Experience of exporting and importing to various European countries by road is required with particular emphasis on Germany, Belgium, Holland and Eastern Europe. In line with our desire to grow our Eastern European services, any candidates with Eastern European language skills would be looked upon very favourably.

Who we are?

Espace Europe Ltd was established in 2000 and specialise predominantly in the movement of road cargo to and from Western and Eastern Europe. The company has grown from 4 to 28 people in this time and has recently become an Investors In People company. (see News items on main website.) We are a dynamic forwarding company that believes in doing things differently and better. Our success up until now has been a result of a number of factors; strong brand image, heavy emphasis on sales and particularly marketing, large number of recommendations and employing the right sort of people with some good on-going customer contacts.


Do you have freight that "sticks"?

We are looking for an individual / teams of individuals who have the necessary motivation, drive and customer contacts to set up regional offices of Espace Europe Ltd. Any U.K location will be considered.

Do you feel you are being appreciated and properly rewarded for the freight you control and the business you have brought on and nurtured? Are there other people in your organisation or who you know that feel disgruntled with their current employment status that could help you set up and run a new branch office of Espace?

If you have customers with whom you have developed close and trusting relationships and you feel that they would remain loyal to you , you are the sort of person we may be interested in speaking to.

In addition to good on-going contacts, you will need to be the type of person that can make things happen, have the desire and necessary skills to run a regional office and have a proven track record in European Freight Forwarding. We will provide you with everything you need to get up and running, all you have to do is make it work!

If you own a forwarding company and are thinking of selling up to move on or retire, we may be interested in speaking to you. We would consider companies with an annual turnover between £500,000 and £2 million. As a specialist in the European Road freight sector, this would probably be our preferred choice of company.
