Challenge
An important customer of theirs in Bristol called them one Thursday
afternoon with 12 tonnes to collect Friday morning for them to be
delivered in Northern Spain by late afternoon on the Saturday.

Solution
We found initially one company which could fulfill the load criteria.
We quoted Oak accordingly. Shortly after, we found a different haulier
with a trailer with 2 Portuguese drivers empty in Bristol very early
Friday morning who could do the load for considerably less than the
original price quoted. We re-quoted the shipment to Oak, who in turn
passed this saving onto their customer. They booked the trailer and
the goods were collected at 9am on the Friday and delivered at 2pm
on the Saturday in Northern Spain.
