Challenge
We collected a full load of exhibition goods from Wales to deliver
to Bucharest, Romania. Two weeks later, we collected goods in Bucharest
and delivered back to Wales. Set dates for collecting and delivering.

Solution
Export: We checked ATA Carnet was in order and obtained
a letter of authority from shipper authorising Espace/agent
to deal with customs.
We obtained a copy of carnet and a packing list from shipper. The
driver had to carry all original documents.
We checked exhibition details for off-load and liaised with the exhibition
clearance agent.
Goods arrived 48 hours before intended off-load date to ensure
customs clearance went smoothly.
A similar procedure was adhered to for the importing of the
goods.
